What fun!

What fun I have had today.

Today being Friday I thought that I might take it easy and just mooch around the house.

Breakfast and then a slouch around the village to see what, if anything, was happening.

Not a lot was going off so I thought that I might go and buy some food from the Welbeck farm shop. 

This I did noting the hordes of tourists visiting The Creswell Crags Visitors Centre on my way. 

After all this exertion I didn't feel like doing much else other than checking the internet out for something of interest. All went well until I downloaded and installed an update for my modem dongle from Microsoft after which the bloody thing stopped working! 

I tried to solve the problem-no, that didn't work, neither did that, I decided that I needed a new modem.

So off I went to Worksop to get a new one. It amazes me how much foul language I use when performing a simple task

 like installing the new dongle. I mean, it's supposed to be a simple matter of plugging it into an empty USB slot.

 The computer, for some reason thinks otherwise because it uninstalled the keyboard and the mouse. Then I remembered to put the sim card into the new modem dongle and everything is more or less tickety-boo-well it seems to work.

 What an exciting life I do lead!
